Sugar is a comfort food, which we routinely access when we feel stressed. And now science is shedding some light as why this might be so. It looks like sugar does have stress reducing effects. And you have to eat actual sugar and not the sugar substitute.
But this finding is probably of not much use, because sugar is a highly addictive and potentially toxic substance, which causes a plethora of health issues.
