Mindfulness for mental health is a new paradigm with some promise. Mental health is equally important as physical health and it is not really just all in the mind! Mindfulness has the potential to help one with a variety of mental health issues.
That is reflected in various mindfulness based interventions that have come about in the field. MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy), MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) are some of the examples of mindfulness based interventions.
