Mindfulness can let you down, if you enter the practice with the wrong set of expectations. And there is a great risk that you are entering the mindfulness practice with a wrong set of expectations. With the mindfulness craze picking up the momentum, you hear all types of exaggerated messages that you designed to lure you in. These messages may not live up to their claimed promises.
You have to be careful with the intention and the motivation with which you enter the practice. Do the due diligence up front and have a healthy skepticism.
