A new study shows that mindfulness meditation can make quitting smoking easier. In this study just within 2 weeks, lung carbon monoxide levels showed up to 60% decrease.
Interestingly, people who thought they didn’t change their smoking habits had lower carbon monoxide levels. Meaning people were not even aware of reduced smoking frequency after they started mindfulness meditation.
