It is a very common scenario, you start practicing meditation, you have moderate “success” after a while. You feel motivated to continue, but eventually you hit a dead end.
You want your practice to “progress”, but you seem to go nowhere! You have many questions and a lot of confusion. What do you do now?
This is indeed the most fragile period of your practice. As the author points out, if you are able to live the questions, you are more likely to be able to continue along the path. Rather than just give up.
