How are you supposed to deal with stress? Being stressed is very painful. You don’t want to be subjected to stress repeatedly. Doesn’t it look like the it would be better to avoid it?
Yes, the instinctive reaction is to avoid that which is painful. But in avoiding what is painful we may be missing out some learning. At times it may be a wiser choice to face what is stressful and painful and explore what it is all about?
